Elena is world traveler; living in CA, her main hobby is teaching and writing. Some of her articles
published in the Dance Notes (USA), and in La Vida Tango, and others.
Elena and Victor made several trips to Argentina to learn deeper unique sub-culture - tango, and to
polished tango skills there with local original masters. During 2001 - 2004 Elena learned and performed on
several cruise ships with a Professional Performing group Las Pampas Devils (Argentina). Also, some
tango influence came from (Tango Passion) Monica & Omar Ocampo, Marcela Duran & Carlos Gavito
(Forever Tango). Elena learned tango with Nito & Elba, Luisa Paes (Pulpos), Facundo Posadas, Miriam
Larici & Hugo Patyn, Fernanda Ghi & Guillermo Merlo, and from many others on workshops and private
lessons. Elena practiced, danced and performed with Maximiliano Gitano (Paradiso, Sapoznik), Gustavo
Fabian Alegre, Hugo Daniel, Pablo Vino, Rafael Valeire, and others


Victor and Elena emphasize that couples communication
is the main source of success. They teach special "Principals
of Tango - Chi," and unique course for couples: "Tango as a
relationship therapist."

dancing. Deep understanding of the psychology of authentic
Tango, sociological elements of the movements, hidden
energy of communication and connections raises the Tango
lessons to a new and very special level.
Elena (Russian-Greek heritage), has more than 25 years
of job experience in many different areas of art, journalism,
dancing and cinematography. She studied character dances:
Russian, Mexican and African Folk; attended an Acting
School and a Music School (accordion).
FOUNDER and PRESIDENT of Tango Caminito School,
producer-choreographer, Tanguera Elena, fundamentally
trained by the best Tango Masters of the world. She also
finished Choreography and Master classes, and obtained
Professional Tango Teacher Diploma-04 (Argentine Tango
Master Association)
Elena holds Bachelor & Master Degrees in several areas,
including Slavonic philologist-linguist and journalist from the
prestige St. Petersburg (Leningrad) University, Russia.
During 2001-2004 Elena was a fashion model for some dancers. While attending Milonga, she created
some traditions for women to follow in dressing code for the dance. She designed and used a lot of different
accessories, such as wigs, net veils, fish net stockings, and head bands with sequins and feathers to dress up
her costumes having the effect of the 1920's, 30's, 40's.
Elena and Victor are special DANCERS - EDUCATORS.
Victor is a global citizen, has a PhD degree in Agricultural Economics, and carries on his family tradition as
a forth generation farm businessman in California. Victor appreciates music, and played a clarinet in his
youth. His hobbies include theater, dancing, teaching, flying and traveling. Victor is fluent in Spanish.
His historical, musical and dance knowledge, good sense of rhythm, and deep understanding of Tango
movements brings special light to the Dance lessons. Tango Caminito School is honored to have Victor for
some events as a special musical and technical Director. He works well with computers, sound system, does
technical preparations for the shows, enjoys doing DJ and MC, makes video and movies after the shows.
Victor is a very modest, calm, kind and generous person, with very good manners, peaceful and polite
personality.
Elena and Victor have special understanding for the
Present Moment and teach their students how to appreciate it.
They bring into their lessons historical and cultural knowledge
from different countries, music and dramatic arts background.

Elena and Victor also learned ballroom (1997- 2002) with some world known Dance Instructors at
various studios and workshops, including Karla & Ron Montez and Mary Murphy (the owner of the
Champion Ballroom Academy in San Diego, judge TV show "So, do you think you can dance").
They like to share with their students the joy of moving with
the music. They teach how to enjoy dance while exercising.
During their unique lessons students discover some hidden
secrets of connections, communication, and authentic energy
inside the dance frame.
Elena and Victor proficient in many dance styles, teaching and
performing internationally. In Fallbrook, Elena and Victor are
teaching Tango, Salsa, Meringue, Cha-Cha, Waltz, Swing,
Samba, Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, and others.
Among her many hobbies were Ballet, Yoga, Pilates,
Thi-Chi, Meditation, NIA, Aerobics, and others.
