1. Walking Step
Gentlemen walk forward. Ladies walks back. Then otherwise.  Remember:
hill goes first for Ballroom. When you walk back release your forward toe.
This crates overall smoothness of your appearance when dancing.
2. Chasse (Any dance)
We do it on the ball of the foot, step first, then carefully close feet right together. We can
dance it to the right and to the left.
3. BOX (Smooth and in Rhythm dances). We can combine forward walking step with Chasse.
Gentlemen go forward or back. Ladies doing opposite.  Remember: change your weight when
you bring your feet together!
4. Rock Step (All Rhythm dances) Basic. Forward Ladies/ men
Backward Ladies/gentlemen. Opposite.  Remember: you change your weight completely and
keep all steps small. Also, replays your weight right under the neath the body every time you
change directions.
5. Fifth Position Rocks Step (Rumba, Swing): As we step back, we are going to turn the
back foot out to an angel. This is going to create a little bit a hip action.
6. Triple step (Cha-cha, Swing): 3 steps to the right, 3 steps to the left.  We close feet in the
middle. Remember: keep all steps the same size. This is why you will stay right on time with
the music

Right arm of a woman straight up, bend in an elbow, vertical to the floor.
