The VA San Diego Healthcare System does not solicit for donations, nor do we allow the name of the VA to be used in solicitations through other
organizations. However, for those organizations or individuals who inquire as to our needs, the following is a list you can use as a guide for our special
needs, program support and/or equipment. None of these items are available through our normal budget.

D. Funds for following projects
1. Coffee supplies
2. Bus tokens for the following programs:
a. Emergency social work fund
b. ADTP (Alcohol Drug Therapy Program)
c. Homeless Program
3. To provide haircuts for inpatients
4. Emergency fund for returning OIF/OEF military
5. Funds to replace televisions throughout the medical center
6. Patient recreational outings for any of the following programs
a. Homeless Veterans
b. Spinal Cord Injury Patients
7. Player/Recorder for Visually impaired veterans
E. National Events:
1. Veterans Art Festival

F. Food for OEF/OIF Outreach and Transition Initiatives
G. Patient Centered Healing Environment Requests
H. Coffee program for Mission Valley Psychiatric clinic patients
I. From Warrior To Soul Mate Program Sponsorship
Approximately $1,500.00 per couple. Marriage Enrichment Retreats for reclaiming
relationships after combat deployments
Prefer to have funds to be able to purchase needed items throughout the medical center.
Monetary donations can be made to the VA San Diego Health System.
